Enjoy a multi-colored, breathtakingly beautiful landscape, including the geology of oxidized iron which creates the red rock in Sedona, with outstanding vistas and fascinating formations. Aside from stunning views, there are many fossils of sea shells at the top of the Grand Canyon. You might even be lucky enough to sight a rare California Condor! Along with experiencing natural wonders you can enjoy shopping in the splendor of the Tlaquepaque Village Shops in Sedona!
Cycling times are about an hour and a half to two hours and always at your own pace. The support van is always available. Communication between cyclists is facilitated by two-way radios. As with all of our trips - everything is provided. Our chief goal is to create a "wow" of an experience for you!
We choose nice hotels or inns for our group to stay at. Tour includes all accommodations, meals, snacks, water bottles, drinks, van support, driver, cycling guide, entrance fees, recumbent trikes, helmets, and more! Tour starts at a pre-determined meeting location at 2 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 2 p.m. on Thursday. Clients receive pertinent information packet in the mail and a personal call from their guide at least two weeks prior to the start of their tour.
What to expect on our 5 Day/ 4 Night Trips to Sedona

Day 1 We will join together for our orientation program, which includes checking into the hotel. Soon you’ll be taking an exciting ride on your recumbent trike, which is designed for ultimate cycling comfort! We will take a scenic van ride, enjoying magnificent views of the gorgeous red rock country and walk through the interesting shops & nooks and crannies of scenic Tlaquepaque and stop to eat a delicious dinner.
Day 2 We meet for breakfast at 8 a.m., do some warm up exercises and stretches (this is done on a daily basis), then head out for an enjoyable and vista-filled morning of cycling for about 2 hours. Lunch time is downtown while gazing upon the beautiful and colorful mountains across from the restaurant. [Many photo opportunities, so bring your camera]. After lunch we take a walk through town and learn about its history. In the afternoon we will take an adventurous and scenic “off road" jeep tour with Red Rock Jeep Tour Company followed by options of shopping or visiting art galleries. We will then head back to the hotel and join up again later for a great dinner.
Day 3 Meet for breakfast and set out for some fun cycling for about 2 hours. This afternoon, we will also enjoy a leisurely hike into Oak Creek Canyon with lunch served among the rocks. This entire trip is a photographer's delight. Tonight’s dinner will be at a very scenic location watching the glow of the sunset on the rock formations. Once the darkness has arrived we will be treated with views of sparkling city lights below and, weather permitting, a great view of the night sky filled with flickering stars above us.
Day 4 After breakfast, we will set out for a van drive to visit the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We will spend the day at the canyon - taking in views of the dynamic canyon walls, looking for the fossils of sea shells and then hike a short way into the canyon via the easy Bright Angel trail. We will make the drive back to our hotel after dinner.
Day 5 We will offer a short period of cycling after breakfast. And, then take a van drive to our last activity – a side trip to Jerome, AZ . It is the most vertical city in America and known to be the largest ghost town as well. We will enjoy lunch at this very interesting location. Check out of the hotel. We drive you to the Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix for your departure. We are sure you will be leaving with fond memories of fun and comfortable cycling as well as your many adventures in Sedona, Arizona and the Grand Canyon!
