Getting to Martha's Vineyard

Enjoy a leisurely ride on one of the ferries or a scenic and convenient flight to get to the Vineyard!

Once you are on the island - we provide round trip transportation! Just let us know whether to pick you up at the ferry terminal, airport, hotel, beach, restaurant....

From Woods Hole take the Steamship Authority which offers the most number of crossings (the only ferry to accommodate vehicles to the island) and is a 45 minute ride across the water. We recommend that you leave your car on the mainland - remember to allow extra time for parking in one of the Steamship Authority parking lots (about $12 per day - accepts credit cards) and taking the free shuttle from the parking lot to the terminal.

Options from Falmouth, MA: The Island Queen  which takes about 35 minutes. (Parking for the Falmouth Queen is about $15 per day - accepts only cash and travellers checks). The Pied Piper which lands in Edgartown after a 55 minute crossing (Parking is about $20 and valet parking service is available at the Falmouth Dock). The Patriot Party Boat is one more alternative and only takes about 30 minutes (about $15 parking).

From New Bedford, MA use the New England Fast Ferry (about $10 per day for parkingand accepts credit cards). They are also offering summer weekend service direct from NYC!

Or take the convenience of a flight into our main airport - check out flights with Cape Air ! Other airlines offer service as well. Charter Flight Information is available. And,  US Airways Express has flights to the Vineyard from Washington DC Dulles and  La Gaurdia Airports:
